Purpose and Goals of TO CoP

UCSB supports high-quality, student-centered instruction across modalities. Teaching online often presents unique challenges and opportunities. The Office of Teaching and Learning has created a community of practice to connect instructors teaching online courses with resources and peer support. The goals of this group are:

  • To facilitate peer-to-peer support and discussion of best practices.

  • To enable focused communications from university stakeholders.

  • To provide relevant professional development and resources.
